Desmosedici Stradale engine
The Streetfighter V4 SP is powered by the Euro 5-homologated 1103 cc Desmosedici Stradale: a 90° V4 with MotoGP-derived desmodromic timing, unique in its class thanks to its counter-rotating crankshaft and ’Twin Pulse’ firing order. The engine can deliver power of 214 hp at 13,500 rpm and torque of 123 Nm at 9500 rpm.
With respect to a wet clutch, the STM EVO-SBK dry clutch ensures more efficient anti-hop function and smoother operation throughout all throttle-off phases. With the use of Ducati Corse Performance Oil, power can be increased by 3.5 hp.
Carbon fibre wheels
The carbon fibre wheels with five split-spoke design make for an overall weight saving of 0.95 kg with respect to forged wheels, of which 0.25 kg at the front and 0.70 kg at the rear. The reduction in rotating masses translates into a moment of inertia that is 12% lower at the front and 19% lower at the rear, reducing the effort a rider makes in changing direction and tightening the line.
The adjustable rider footpegs in billet aluminium can be set to three different positions, to adapt the riding position and increase the lean angle. Complete with carbon fibre heel guards, they are designed to allow quick conversion to the reverse-shift pattern, ideal for sports use on track.
The front braking system stands out for the Brembo MCS (Multiple Click System) radial master cylinder, which allows quick and easy adjustment of the lever pivot-to-tip distance across three settings, enabling riders to tailor braking feel to their preferences.
The Streetfighter V4 SP is equipped with Öhlins suspension and steering damper, controlled by the third-generation SmartEC 3.0 system with new OBTi user interface. This choice improves riding comfort on the road while ensuring precision and performance on track. The user interface also allows more precise adjustment of the suspension’s hydraulic response during the different riding phases.
Electronics package
The electronics package on the Streetfighter V4 SP features a control strategy designed to enhance riding precision, stability and performance. Based on the 6-axis IMU, the controls exploit the Ducati Vehicle Observer, the algorithm developed by Ducati Corse that allows for more accurate intervention and an even more efficient response when riding at the limit.
The Öhlins suspension and steering damper, controlled by the SmartEC 3.0 system with new OBTi user interface, the 4 Riding Modes and 4 Power Modes, transform the Streetfighter V4 SP into the ideal bike for everyday riding and for time attacks on track.
Numbered version
To highlight the uniqueness of the model, the progressive number of each Streetfighter V4 SP is engraved on the handlebar.
The bike adopts the "Winter Test" livery, minimalist and eye-catching, created by the Centro Stile Ducati and inspired by the Ducati Corse bikes used during the MotoGP and SBK Championships pre-season tests. The matte black of the super structures, combined with the matte finish of the carbon wheels and wings, contrasts with bright red accents on the seat and Brembo brake calipers, and with the shine of the exposed brushed aluminium fuel tank.
