Italy Trip 2020

Our big event of the Summer Calendar is back, it’s our 17th annual Italy Trip! After 17 years of taking our customers and their bikes to the twisty hills of Italy, we are starting to get the hang of it...
Where are we going?
This year we return to the Tuscan village of Scarperia, just north of Florence and a stones throw from the Mugello circuit. It is an ideal base surrounded by beautiful scenery; amazing roads and plenty of must see attractions within riding distance.
What are we doing?
We plan daily routes on roads through amazing scenery and to iconic locations. Whether a trip to Imola for lunch at the circuit or a ride down the Chianti road to idyllic medieval towns or villages, you won’t be short of things to see and do.
But as with all our trips, you are free to do what you want on the day. If you want to come on one of our organised ride outs – great! If you want to do your own thing or take a day off relaxing by the pool, then that’s fine too.
You can ride as much or as little as you want, in a way that is comfortable for you. We will be on hand to recommend longer routes for the more adventurous or just short local rides for a change of pace.
How does it work?
All the bikes are shipped from our dealership direct to the Hotel in Scarperia, along with your riding gear and luggage. The next time you see your pride and joy it will be in the secure underground car park with Tuscan mountain roads mere minutes away.
We use Focused Events, Europe’s largest track day and motorcycle logistics company, so your machine is in excellent hands.
We all follow a few days later by plane and are transferred from the airport to be reunited with our bikes – it’s as simple as that.
After that we can enjoy a full week of riding without needing ferries and Autobahns before we get to the good roads! We may occasionally use the autostrada to by-pass Florence.
When is it?
The dates we fly are:
Outbound- Thursday 9th July 2020
Return – Thursday 16th July 2020
Numbers are limited to 28 customer bikes and it is filling up fast. So we give priority to customers who will be riding a Ducati or Triumph bought from ourselves. Any spare places after these will be offered on a first come first served basis.
How much does it cost?
Single bike, single person in a single room - £1,325
Single bike, single person in a double or twin room - £1,395 (if available)
Single bike and two people in a double room - £1,595
Two bikes and two people in a twin or double room - £1,995
These costs include bike transport to and from Italy, hotel accommodation, bed and breakfast , the Pisa Mover rail, followed by coach transfers to and from Pisa Mover mid-way point and the hotel. In addition costs also include first night meal and a final night meal at the Castello Del Trebbio (see link below) where we will also enjoy a tour of their wine cellars (some wine provided).
The cost does not include the flights, travel insurance or motorcycle insurance.
Details of the Manchester/Pisa flights will be provided, but these must be booked and paid for by yourselves. Your bikes and gear must be dropped off and collected from the shop.
We are immensely proud of our trips and their enduring popularity; they’ve even received special recognition from our manufacturers! Whether you ride out with us or we cross paths in the hotel bar to share tales of our days adventures; we’re sure you will forge great memories, and hopefully a few new two wheeled friends.
If this sounds like your cup of Cappucino (or glass of Chianti!)  Text Heather on 07851 701704 with your email address for more information, or to reserve your place. Once you have decided to join us Heather will give you the flight details.
From all the Jagger family and the team, we look forward to seeing you in Bella Italia – Ciao!
